It's harder to make ends meet when you are the only parent providing for your family. We expect these small families to be in an affordable housing crisis more than others. The parent must be working full time, and must maintain a full time job the entire time they are residing at a Collective Prosperity Villa. While primarily for low-income households, the program will also provide housing at market rate to certain small families to keep the living arrangement viable and self-sustaining.
Only families with one to two children are eligible to participate. Children must be 14 years and younger, and must not have behavioral issues that cannot be controlled by medication. It is important for the Collective Prosperity Program to know of any emotional trauma that have plagued all participants. That way, a healing program can be developed to help the members of the family to be whole and healthy, moving forward.
The most important part of this program is the cooperation of its participants. In this Village environment, all participants will be required to help all participants of the house. Respect for boundaries and adherence of the House Rules are required to make this successful. In the house, we teach you to take care of yourself, your children, your spirit, your wellbeing, your health and your future. We can only do that if you are willing to listen and fully participate in the programming offered.
All participants must be free of any criminal charges or behavior. A Criminal Background Check will be performed to ensure the safety of our residents. Visitors will be allowed in certain parts of the home, but must respect the occupants at all times. A credit check and a former residence check will also be conducted, to ensure that you will abide by the leasing arrangement.
Some Villas will cater to families that have a special needs member, where the primary parent can take care of their child in an affordable environment. There may also be arrangements available for adults with minor disabilities, who need safe and affordable living environments. They must be self-sufficient and need minimal assistance to live independently.
Applications for participation to the Collective Prosperity Program are limited to those persons who are invited to apply. Space is extremely limited in this program. We will make spaces available as we procure additional housing, and as appropriate situations present themselves. If you are interested, please forward an email and explain why you want to be considered for this program.
